Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician

Brown University is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician to join their well-established women's health team in Providence, RI. This is an excellent opportunity to practice full-scope OB/GYN in a supportive environment with strong clinical resources, dedicated staff, and access to subspecialty care. The dynamic group sees over 1700 deliveries annually and offers excellent academic opportunities including teaching, mentorship, case review, and c-sections with residents.

Practice Info

• Join 7 experienced OB/GYN physicians, full-time certified nurse midwives, 1 Gyn/Onc, 1 MFM, and 2 Hospitalists.
• Practice full-scope OB/GYN with a balanced schedule of approximately 50/50 obstetrics and gynecology.
• Birthing center features eleven-room birthing center with spacious private rooms, labor support amenities including hydrotherapy tubs, and lactation support services.
• Clinical resources include Level II ultrasound, on-site radiology, advanced cervical screening, and a comprehensive postpartum support program.

Responsibilities

• Practice full-scope OB/GYN.
• Provide comprehensive care to a diverse patient population.
• Manage call responsibilities.
• Teach residents and medical students at Brown University Health (optional).

Compensation

• Competitive Base Salary Range of $260,000-$300,000 + incentives up to $50,000 annually.
• Additional shift and call reimbursement available.

Shift & Schedule

• 4 clinic days per week.
• 0.5 day of dedicated OR time per week.

• Call schedule: 1:8 rotation, 12 hours, except holidays.

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited OB/GYN residency.
• Eligible for Rhode Island medical licensure.
• H-1B and J1 visa sponsorship available.
