Ophthalmology Physician

Brown University Health is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Ophthalmology Physician to join its well-established and collaborative Ophthalmology department in Providence, Rhode Island. Practice Info

• Join a team of 12 ophthalmology providers
• Practice at two fully equipped surgical centers located in Providence, RI and Attleboro, MA
• Active involvement in a residency program with Brown-affiliated medical students
• Opportunity to work with and mentor Physician Assistant students during clinical rotations
• Strong emphasis on teaching, mentorship, and academic engagement

Responsibilities

• Deliver a comprehensive blend of primary eye care and specialty services
• Provide outpatient care
• Perform surgical care

Compensation

• Competitive base salary: $225,000 - $325,000, plus RVU-based productivity incentives
• Potential sign-on bonus and retention bonus

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Ophthalmology
• Eligible for or active Rhode Island medical licensure (required)
• Massachusetts medical licensure (preferred)
• Fellowship training or specialization in Cornea (preferred)
