Glaucoma Physician

Brown University Health is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Glaucoma Specialist to join their well-established and collaborative Ophthalmology department in Providence, Rhode Island. Practice Info

• Join a team of 12 ophthalmology providers delivering a comprehensive blend of primary eye care and specialty services
• Focus on the medical and surgical management of glaucoma
• Opportunity to practice at two fully equipped surgical centers in Providence, RI and Attleboro, MA
• Active involvement in a residency program with Brown-affiliated medical students
• Opportunity to teach and mentor Physician Assistant students during clinical rotations

Responsibilities

• Deliver a comprehensive blend of primary eye care and specialty services
• Focus on the medical and surgical management of glaucoma
• Provide outpatient care
• Perform surgical intervention

Compensation

• Competitive base salary: $225,000 - $325,000, plus RVU-based productivity incentives
• Potential sign-on bonus and retention bonus

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Ophthalmology
• Fellowship training in Glaucoma required
• Eligible for or active Rhode Island medical licensure (required)
• Massachusetts medical licensure (preferred)
