Whether you will spend your day brainstorming in an office cubicle, operating a crane, running manufacturing equipment or troubleshooting technical obstacles, at CMC, you'll get the training and support from your team that you need to excel in your role and reach your full potential.What You'll Do:Oversee daily yard operations, including staging, loading, and unloading materialsMaintain an organized yard layout to support efficient traffic flow and storageOperate equipment (forklifts, loaders, cranes, etc.) and ensure safe, proper use by the teamCoordinate with dispatch and production to support timely delivery of productsTrack inventory and report any discrepancies or material shortagesInspect incoming and outgoing products for quality and accuracyMonitor yard equipment (e.g., forklifts, cranes) to ensure proper maintenance and safe operationEnsure compliance with safety standards, including proper PPE and equipment useMaintain accurate documentation of yard activities, shipments, and inventory movementsWhat You'll Need:3+ years of experience in yard, warehouse, or material handling roles; supervisory experience preferredKnowledge of material handling equipment and safe yard operationsStrong communication skills with the ability to coordinate across teamsOrganized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentBasic computer skills for tracking materials and maintaining accurate recordsAbility to work outdoors in varying weather conditionsYour Education: High School Diploma or GED requiredWe are CMC, a Fortune 500® company at the leading edge of our industry.
