Yard Driver
Position Details:
Pay: $18/hr during training, $20/hr after training.
Shift: Sunday starting at 1:00pm and Monday-Thursday starting at 2:00pm until finished.

Position Purpose: The Yard Driver is responsible for moving tractor trailers to/from the loading docks and parking loaded or empty trailers in designated areas in a safe and timely manner and in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company. Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
- Performs inspections and moves trailers safely following all DOT regulations and company safe-driving policies.
- Fuels, moves, and parks tractors and trailers to the docks.
- Tractor trailers will be moved around the facility, no city driving.
- Secures trucks, trailers, and equipment always.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate should possess the following:
- Able to back up to the dock
- Ability to back up within tight spaces on the yard
- Be safe and vigilant while working on the yard
