At Gateway Diagnostic Imaging, a partner of Lumexa Imaging , we are committed to delivering exceptional patient care through advanced imaging technology and a compassionate team approach. We are seeking a motivated and patient-focused X-Ray Technologist to join our outpatient imaging center for our location in Richardson, TX.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm

Position Summary

The X-Ray Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic radiographic procedures in a fast-paced outpatient imaging environment. This role ensures patient safety, comfort, and accurate imaging while delivering an exceptional patient experience.

  • Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
  • Ensure proper patient positioning and image quality while minimizing radiation exposure
  • Provide clear instructions and compassionate care to patients throughout the imaging process
  • Verify patient information, orders, and documentation for accuracy
  • Maintain equipment functionality and report any issues promptly
  • Adhere to all safety, infection control, and HIPAA regulations
  • Collaborate effectively with radiologists, technologists, and front office staff
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and work areas

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • ARRT (R) registered (or registry-eligible)
  • State licensure as required
  • Current BLS certification preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills
