WiremanPremier Automation is seeking a Wireman to join our Alpharetta, GA production team, where you will assemble and wire industrial control panels, motor control systems, and automation equipment in a dedicated manufacturing environment. Here's how we do it:Comprehensive medical coverage with a 100% company-paid deductibleDental and vision insurance401(k) with employer match and immediate vestingCompany-paid life insurance and short-term disability coveragePaid time off package with PTO, 10 paid company holidays, and paid sick leaveOvertime compensationCompany-provided tools and boot allowanceEducation assistance for ongoing professional development$1,000 employee referral bonusesEmployee wellness programsYour Experience at PremierHere's what you can expect from the role and the team:Position Type: Full-time, hourly role with overtime eligibilitySchedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PMLocation & Work Environment: Alpharetta, GA, working in a clean, organized, temperature-controlled production facilityTeam & Reporting: Reports to the Production Manager and works closely with shop leadership and fellow wiremenTraining & Development: Hands-on training with experienced electricians and opportunities to grow technical skills in industrial automationTeam Culture & Appreciation: A collaborative, hands-on environment that values craftsmanship, teamwork, and continuous improvement, supported by employee recognition and team eventsInterview Process: Virtual screening interview, on-site interview and facility tour, reference checks, and pre-employment screeningDuties and ResponsibilitiesAs a Wireman, you will:Assemble and wire industrial electrical control panels and enclosuresBuild motor control circuits, including contactors, overloads, starters, and related componentsLayout and organize enclosures, back panels, and subpanels according to electrical drawingsMount and secure electrical devices and wiring hardwareRead and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and bills of materialApply proper wiring methods, terminations, labeling, and voltage separation practicesVerify components and assemblies for accuracy and compliance with drawingsTroubleshoot wiring and component issues during build and checkoutUse basic computer systems for labeling, documentation, and production trackingMaintain clean, organized work areas while following safety and quality standardsExperience and QualificationsWhat We're Looking For:Associate degree or certificate in Electrical Technology, Industrial Electricity, or a related trade program preferredExperience in electrical assembly, panel wiring, or similar industrial electrical workAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams (entry-level candidates should have classroom exposure)Familiarity with motor control components, starters, relays, and basic industrial devicesStrong troubleshooting ability related to wiring and component installationComfortable using hand and power tools in a production environmentBasic computer skills for labeling and documentationHigh attention to detail and commitment to clean, high-quality workmanshipTeam-oriented with clear communication skills in a production settingSelf-starter who can stay busy, take initiative, and contribute to team productivityDependable and consistent in attendance, quality, and work ethicPhysical & Work Requirements:Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs and remain active (standing, bending, reaching) throughout an 8-hour shiftFrequent use of hand and power tools requiring manual dexterity and the ability to work in tight or enclosed spacesWork AuthorizationApplicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
