Field Performance Advisor – Seattle, WA – Wireless 5G Construction Management/Auditing

We are seeking a Field Performance Advisor (FPA) to drive optimal performance and continuous improvement among our suppliers by engaging in regular site visits. The FPA will consult with suppliers to correct real‑time discrepancies, identify improvement opportunities and develop process enhancements to increase crew effectiveness, tool utilization and quality.

***CANDIDATES MUST BE LOCAL TO THE SEATTLE/BELLEVUE MARKET*** – While the core position is based in Seattle, we also consider qualified candidates residing within 50 miles of the market area. Previous AT&T Wireless experience is preferred.

Base pay range

$50.00 / yr – $60.00 / yr

Job Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze site performance metrics: cycle time, close‑out package (COP) first‑time‑right, Job Hazard Assessment (JHA) compliance, Ericsson tool utilization, build quality and customer‑specific requirements.
  • Identify supplier performance areas in need of improvement; provide feedback to Territory Director and suppliers and partner with suppliers to correct, adapt and respond to the feedback.
  • Engage with suppliers on‑site to conduct root‑cause analysis of performance deficiencies, troubleshoot problems and ensure real‑time discrepancies related to safety and construction are corrected.
  • Strategically plan daily and weekly site and supplier visits to achieve key targets and drive overall market performance.
  • Act as an internal partner for Ericsson’s Senior Construction Managers and Project Management teams to review and evaluate market‑level on‑site requests, such as supporting customer meetings, site access and validating construction drawings.
  • Identify, design and develop process improvements for suppliers’ site construction processes and Ericsson tools; collaborate with Automation teams to develop new tools and adjust current tools to increase efficiency.
  • Collect and report supplier performance data to support business cases for new features or changes to ways of working.
  • Build strong relationships with market suppliers to foster a culture of continuous improvement and two‑way feedback.
  • Ensure suppliers understand and adhere to Ericsson and customer processes, methods and tools that apply to their sites.
  • Continuously improve and provide feedback on Ericsson and customer‑specific information and training for accuracy in delivery performance via Site Tracker and Power BI metrics.
  • Support governance for quarterly Supplier Business Reviews (QBR), report on findings and actions taken and recommend improvements; manage field‑related actions from QBRs.
  • Demonstrate entrepreneurial and innovative thinking, performing at a high level with minimal supervision in a fast‑paced, fluid work environment.
  • Proactively analyze issues, identify problems and make sound decisions.
  • Collaborate and partner with suppliers for successful delivery.
  • Interpret performance metrics and analytics to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Exhibit strong planning, organization, leadership and consultative skills.
  • Effectively communicate and work with cross‑functional teams, diverse personalities and professional skill levels.

Qualifications and Experiences

  • Minimum 7+ years of relevant work/industry experience.
  • Experience providing design solutions and guidance on order of operations.
  • Strong knowledge of general construction processes and procedures.
  • Experience managing and directing general contractor suppliers and construction scope estimation.
  • Knowledge of and ability to enforce Ericsson and customer construction and quality standards.
  • Ability to interface with customers, property owners and other ancillary personnel as needed.
  • Strong knowledge of contracts (leasing, vendor facing, customer facing) and financial acumen.
  • Ability to collaborate and foster positive relationships with suppliers or external partners.
  • Experience leading or influencing teams to perform at their best.
  • Strong understanding of applicable health and safety regulations impacting Ericsson and its suppliers.
  • Completion of approved OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) 30‑hour course for telecommunications industry.
  • Previous experience with Ericsson equipment portfolio is a plus.
