Class III Paraprofessional
Western School District is currently seeking one Class III Paraprofessional for Western Career Prep High School.
Position Available:
- One Class III Paraprofessional. Approx. 7 hours/day (7:25am- 2:30pm)
Qualifications:
- High School Graduate
- Demonstrate through previous work experience an ability to effectively communicate with adults and children. Possess a high degree of organizational skills, time management, and professionalism.
- Be able to work as part of a team
- Be willing to complete 7-9 hours of professional development throughout the school year
- Highly Qualified as per the Michigan Department of Education Guidelines
- Complete at least two years of study at an institution of higher education (equal to 60 semester hours)*; or
- Obtain an associate's degree (or higher); or
- Meet a rigorous standard of quality and demonstrate, through the passage of an approved formal state academic assessment ETS Parapro Assessment** - Online
- A passing score of 460 is required
