Description

Meyer Distributing is looking for a Warehouse Manager to join our Denver, CO team!

The Warehouse Manager loads and unloads trucks, stocks products in appropriate locations, pulls stock and stages products for shipping, and operates powered industrial equipment (forklift/manlift), ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions.

Annual Salary for Warehouse Manager

  • (\$80,000.00 - \$88,000.00) with opportunities for increases through performance reviews

Schedule (End times may vary)

Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Requirements for Warehouse Manager

  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Accellos software
  • Positive attitude and ability to motivate employees
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to identify letters and numbers
  • Demonstrate leadership skills and abilities
  • Planning, organizing and follow-up skills
  • Quality control – individual demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors own work to ensure quality
  • Adaptability – individual adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and can deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events
  • Dependability – consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction and solicits feedback to improve performance

Warehouse Manager duties include but are not limited to

  • Report safety issues or concerns immediately to management
  • Supervise employees to ensure productivity
  • Ensure that warehouse is clean, neat and well organized to ensure each job can be done efficiently
  • Unload trucks and distribute products to appropriate area of warehouse for restocking
  • Use scanners to place parts in proper bins and pull orders
  • Stock parts on racks in proper location
  • Organize and secure product properly in preparation to be transported or moved
  • Administer appropriate disciplinary action as needed and give input on performance evaluations
  • Monitor hours worked by employees and adhere to allotted hours
  • Report absence of employees via computer
  • Manage assigned employees’ timecards
  • Evaluate and administer subordinate employee’s performance reviews
  • Communicate the daily summary email as directed
  • Secure the building at the close of business
  • All other duties as assigned by National Warehouse Manager
