VP Finance - Real Estate Development

Metric Geo is partnering with a high-growth real estate developer/builder to identify a VP of Finance to join its corporate leadership team.

This is a high-impact finance leadership opportunity for someone who wants to help build and scale a growing real estate platform, rather than step into a highly established corporate finance organization.

The Role:

• Partner directly with the CFO and executive leadership team
• Lead corporate FP&A, financial planning, forecasting, and reporting
• Build scalable financial processes and infrastructure across the organization
• Partner with divisional finance leaders to drive accountability and performance
• Lead and develop a team of finance professionals
• Support strategic decision-making across development and homebuilding operations
• Gain exposure to acquisitions, creative financing, capital allocation, and broader corporate strategy
• Help position the business for significant continued growth

Ideal Background:

• Senior-level FP&A / Finance leadership experience
• Strong corporate finance, financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting background
• Experience within real estate, development, homebuilding, construction, private equity, banking, or a related industry
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
• Ability to move between high-level strategy and hands-on execution
• Strong communicator capable of partnering with executives and divisional leadership
• Scrappy, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build rather than simply maintain
