Local candidates preferred.ResponsibilitiesVoice Network architecture planning and designVoice Network zoning and device placementVoice Network devices (Client, SRP, MGW)Performance and capacity management (trunks, interconnections, carrier management)Event and outage managementMeasurement, reporting, and CSINetwork Operations Center functional efficiencyActively participate in engagement planning, execution, and reporting activities including:Researching new technologies, understanding existing processes, and referencing recognized service management frameworksInterfacing with our clients to identify and understand potential risk areasContributing to the definition of final engagement scopeDocumenting meeting minutesAnalyzing documentation, process information, technical configurations, or other client provided information and documenting the results of analysisClearly articulating the status and results of work performed, both orally and in written form, to internal management and the clientOperates effectively and with minimal supervision, if needed, within a team or independently.Pursues continuous professional development through internal/external training, certifications and/or continuing education.Shares knowledge gained through previous experience and engagements performed with other staff members.Performs special projects and related duties, as assigned.Identifies opportunities for continuous improvement to engagement methodology, department tools, and training curriculum.May informally coach and supervise individual staff.Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.Regular, consistent and punctual attendance.QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or a related discipline with solid academic credentials.Minimum of 10 years of experience required.Broad Experience in Network Operations and Technology.Experience and/or certification in one or more areas:Certifications: CCNP, CCIE, JNCIS-ENT, ITIL, TOGAF etcHands on technical experience (Routing, Switching)Vendor experience: Cisco, Juniper, CheckpointProcess experience: COBIT, ITIL, AgileRouting ProtocolsIT Experience in a large corporation.Large multi-function or multi-division IT projectsExperience Working for large Telecommunications company a plusExperience supporting multi-data center converged (data, voice, video) networksProficient in use of Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)Ability to travel up to 25-35% annuallyExposure to internal audit, compliance or other internal control functions (including automation used in these functions) is a plus, but not required.
