Job Overview
As a Vice President within the Fraud Strategy Team, you will be responsible for designing and validating fraud strategies, capabilities, and processes including working with Product, Technology, and Operations teams. Your role will require a deep understanding of the business, data analysis to understand root causes, and the use of analytics to design and implement solutions. You will play a pivotal role in promoting end‑to‑end solutions that mitigate risks while balancing the minimization of revenue loss, operating costs, and customer impacts.
Job Responsibilities
- Monitoring authentication risks in non‑digital channels of IVR, call center & branch and fraud attack trends to identify tactical and strategic responses to minimize customer and bank exposure.
- Collaborating with product, operations, technical and analytics teams to develop and prioritize initiatives and resources to maximize existing capabilities.
- Taking ownership of the ATO and authentication‑related fraud loss categories to ensure a clear plan is placed to minimize overall fraud loss expenses.
- Regularly monitoring fraud trends and customer frictions to identify opportunities to improve fraud strategy performance.
- Leveraging internal and external data sources and advanced analytic tools to drive accurate fraud detection.
- Staying on top of industry trends and adopting industry best practices.
- Driving concise and effective oral and written communications with internal and external partners at different levels.
Qualifications
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in risk management/data analytics. Relevant fraud experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of programming languages like SAS and SQL.
- Proven ability to collaborate and build strong partnerships.
- Ability to think strategically to develop vision for areas of responsibility and drive execution to balance short‑term vs long‑term solutions.
- Experience delivering recommendations to management, with strong ownership and accountability to drive and execute initiatives.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively and strategically to senior leaders and key stakeholders.
- Demonstrated strong curiosity to learn and attention to detail to drive analytical and execution quality.
