Day in the Life (Job Duties)
- Partner with Veterinarians to deliver care—from prepping for surgery to monitoring anesthesia and performing treatments and diagnostics.
- Provide Compassionate Client Care by educating and reassuring pet parents during stressful moments and explaining home care instructions.
- Perform Lab & Technical Skills including blood collection, lab tests, IV catheter placement, radiographs (including dental), medications, vaccines, suturing, and wound care.
- Maintain Organized Workflow by keeping accurate digital medical records, restocking supplies, and ensuring equipment cleanliness and sterilization.
- Be a Culture Champion by embodying core values (Accountability, Teamwork, Solution-Focus), mentoring assistants, and fostering a positive environment.
What We’re Looking For (Qualifications)
- Credentialed Vet Tech in Colorado : Certified/Registered/Licensed Veterinary Technician (CVT, RVT, LVT) with a current Colorado license or eligibility.
- Experience : At least 1 year of clinical vet tech experience. Emergency/urgent care experience is a plus; we’ll teach urgent care skills if you’re eager to learn.
- Team Player Attitude : Thrive in a team, communicate well, and contribute to a collaborative workflow. Our motto: “no ego – all care.”
- Efficient & Proactive : Strong organization in a sometimes hectic environment with attention to record-keeping and dosing details.

Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive Pay : $26–$29/hour, plus 1.5x pay on Sploot-recognized holidays.
