The Role

As a Veterinary Ophthalmologist, you will:

• Perform comprehensive patient exams, manage medical records, and communicate with clients and staff.
• Collaborate with a team of experienced veterinarians and support staff to maintain the highest standards of care from intake to discharge.
• Participate in ongoing training and practice‑management updates to enhance clinical skills and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• DVM or VMD degree from an accredited university
• Completion of a 1‑year rotational internship in small animal medicine and a 3‑year residency in ophthalmology
• Board‑certified or residency‑trained ophthalmologist
• Current veterinary license to practice in Florida
• Eligibility to work in the United States
• Excellent diagnostic and clinical skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication capabilities
