Associate Veterinarian (DVM) - Full-Time Opportunity

Position Responsibilities
- Perform surgical procedures as needed, including but not limited to ovariohysterectomy, orchiectomy/castration, tumor or mass removal, hernia repair, and dental extractions.
- Perform a variety of surgical procedures, including limited ocular procedures when appropriate.
- Provide comprehensive medical care, diagnostics, treatment plans, and preventive healthcare recommendations.
- Educate clients on proper pet nutrition, sanitation, vaccinations, heartworm prevention, flea and tick control, and overall wellness.
- Build strong relationships with clients and their pets through compassionate communication and excellent medical record-keeping.
- Utilize advanced in-house equipment, including ultrasound, critical care monitoring equipment, isolation wards, and fully equipped surgical suites.
- Demonstrate strong surgical abilities, including spay/neuter procedures, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, and limited orthopedic procedures.
- Balance medical recommendations with client needs while considering financial priorities.
- Exercise sound clinical judgment and work independently while collaborating with veterinary technicians and hospital staff.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to technical team members.
- Maintain accurate medical records and follow established hospital protocols.
- Familiarity with Avimark software is a plus.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent.
- Active veterinary license or eligibility for licensure.
- Prior veterinary hospital experience preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply.
- Strong surgical and clinical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
