Veterinarian Personal Specs
- Hold a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an accredited veterinary school. Have a valid SC DVM license, DEA controlled drug license, and SC DHEC controlled drug license.
- Stay up to day on the latest procedures and techniques in veterinary medicine through continuing education.
- Perform physical exams, diagnostics, surgical, and dental procedures.
- Diagnose and treat small animal. Prescribe medications and administer treatments.
- Maintain proper medical records.
- Communicate effectively with clients and personnel in order to provide the best medical care.
