The Role

  • Full‑time small‑animal Veterinarian serving dogs, cats, and select small mammals
  • Deliver preventive care, wellness exams, and vaccinations
  • Perform dentistry (including cleanings and dental imaging) and soft‑tissue procedures; basic orthopedic surgery as appropriate
  • Lead diagnostic workups using digital radiography and in‑house lab testing
  • Provide clear client communication and collaborative case management
  • Utilize drop‑off workflows to maximize patient access and efficiency
  • Maintain accurate medical records and uphold quality and safety standards
  • Contribute to a shared weekend rotation and occasional early‑opening shifts
  • Support, mentor, and partner with a skilled veterinary support team

Requirements

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent from an accredited institution
  • License to practice veterinary medicine in Maryland (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Eligibility to work in the United States
  • DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Strong clinical communication skills and a commitment to preventive care and teamwork
  • Comfort with routine surgery and dentistry; willingness to participate in weekend coverage
