The Role
- Full‑time small‑animal Veterinarian serving dogs, cats, and select small mammals
- Deliver preventive care, wellness exams, and vaccinations
- Perform dentistry (including cleanings and dental imaging) and soft‑tissue procedures; basic orthopedic surgery as appropriate
- Lead diagnostic workups using digital radiography and in‑house lab testing
- Provide clear client communication and collaborative case management
- Utilize drop‑off workflows to maximize patient access and efficiency
- Maintain accurate medical records and uphold quality and safety standards
- Contribute to a shared weekend rotation and occasional early‑opening shifts
- Support, mentor, and partner with a skilled veterinary support team
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent from an accredited institution
- License to practice veterinary medicine in Maryland (or eligibility to obtain)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain)
- Strong clinical communication skills and a commitment to preventive care and teamwork
- Comfort with routine surgery and dentistry; willingness to participate in weekend coverage
