Vein Harvesting Cardiovascular Surgery Nurse Practitioner (or Physician Assistant) UT Health Tyler

UT Health East Texas is seeking an Advanced Practice Practitioner (APP) to join our dedicated Cardiothoracic Surgery team in Tyler, Texas.

We are seeking experienced APPs with strong skills in OR first assist and ICU rounding. Vein harvesting experience required.

Position Overview

• Employment Type: Full-Time (1.0 FTE), Inpatient Only
• Practice Setting: In-hospital coverage including OR, ICU, and floor
• Patient Load: Daily expectation of 15–20 patients
• Schedule: Four (4) 10-hour shifts
• Weekend Requirement: One (1) weekend per month
• Call Duty: 1:3 rotational in-house call
• EMR: Epic

• Three (3) Cardiothoracic Surgeons
• Six (6) Advanced Practice Practitioners
• Dedicated clinical and administrative support staff
