Our client is looking for a Valuation Manager to join its Finance/Accounting team. This company is highly acquisitive, actively closing acquisitions throughout the year, and this role will take full ownership of purchase price accounting (PPA) for all deal activity.
What You'll Do
- Lead purchase price accounting analyses for acquisitions in accordance with ASC 805/IFRS 3
- Coordinate with third-party valuation specialists and internal stakeholders on acquisition accounting and valuation activities
- Prepare and maintain valuation models, supporting schedules, and acquisition accounting documentation
- Support quarterly and annual fair value assessments
- Partner with M&A, Legal, and FP&A throughout the transaction lifecycle, from diligence through post-acquisition integration
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of progressive experience in accounting, audit, tax, or transaction advisory
- At least 1-2 years of hands-on valuation experience
- Public accounting background preferred
- Strong understanding of valuation methodologies (DCF, market, income approaches) and fair value accounting concepts
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
