Brief Of The Organization

The Centre for Health Policy (CHP) at the Asian Development Research Institute (ADRI) in Patna has been set up with support from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to strengthen the health sector in Bihar with a multi-dimensional and multi-disciplinary approach. Its aim is to engage in rigorous analysis of the health system and inform policy makers to fine-tune interventions for even stronger outcomes.

Position: Research Consultant (Quantitative Research)

Number of position : One

Eligibility

PhD in Demography/Population Studies/Statistics/Economics.
Demonstrable knowledge in applied econometric and demographic methods as indicated by high quality publications
Well versed with advanced quantitative methods such as multilevel modelling, survival analysis, three-stage least square modelling, propensity score matching and so on by using STATA software
Knowledge of techniques of mathematical demography, particularly, methods of population projection
Excellent command over Hindi and English language and writing skill in English

Responsibilities

Carrying out advanced econometric analysis as per need of the study
Provide help in writing as per need
Secondary data collection and compilation
Occasional field visits will be required

Remuneration: Remuneration will be commensurate withknowledge, experience and quality of publications. Maximum Rs. 1.00 Lakh per month will be offered for the deserving candidate.
