Mechatronics System EngineerWork location is Dallas TX Start date: immediate Background check MANDATORYThe Mechatronics Systems Engineer responsibilities includes:Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to gather, process, and track stakeholder goals and KPIs that need to be achieved.Translates the product goals and KPIs into detailed system requirements that will guide the design of the system and subsystems.Generates interface control documents to ensure the proper interactions between different subsystems of the product, including interactions with vehicles.Specify the functional and non-functional requirements in a subsystem specification document that meets the required functions and capabilities of new features.Ensure that all safety goals and requirements, methodologies, and are successfully integrated into product designs.Evaluate new requests by collaborating with different engineering disciplines to establish estimates for new features and functions.Participate in conceptual design and documentation processes.Engages in design reviews to ensure traceability of requirements and compliance.Support the development of system/subsystem level requirements verification and customer acceptance test cases.Reviews test plans/procedures and ensures alignment with requirements.Concentrate on workflows, optimization methods, and risk management tools for assigned projects.Contribute to the business development process through proposal inputs, meetings, and presentations to potential customers, among other activities.Travel, as required, to customer facilities, test facilities, and customer field sites to address issues, explore design alternatives, and provide information to development teams.3 years of direct experience in requirements elicitation and generation.Expert in Product development lifecycle for complex systems and/or subsystems.Experience in development for autonomous systems, robotics, or related fields is highly desirable.Familiarity with development methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum.Proficient in design principles, hardware development, and requirement management.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team.Strong communication skills to articulate ideas and collaborate effectively with team members.Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.Knowledge of autonomous technology, robotics, or related domains.Familiarity with testing frameworks and hardware in the loop testing.Experience with Jama or other requirements management tools.
