UI UX Designer - MCCMS

Salary: $124,800 - 124,800 per year Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience creating user interface designs with measurable impact
• Proficiency with Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and front-end development fundamentals
• Experience with content design, UX writing, SEO, and content strategy fundamentals
• Expertise in prototyping, interaction flows, wireframes, interface specifications, and visual design
• Current knowledge of digital and interaction design principles and trends
• Ability to explain complex design challenges and solutions through clear communication and presentations
• Portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design deliverables for products or websites
• Experience designing accessible digital products, including optimization for assistive technologies
• Bachelors degree
• Healthcare or higher education experience preferred

• Contribute to each stage of the design process, from wireframes and responsive mockups to developer-ready UI documentation
• Represent users by applying design best practices across devices and meeting accessibility standards
• Participate in UX research to develop solutions that address user needs and goals
• Turn UX findings and brand identity into reusable design patterns that improve the user experience
• Collaborate with teammates and stakeholders to refine navigation, interactions, and digital storytelling
• Work within a component-based CMS and partner with content contributors to create engaging page layouts
• Prepare and adapt design specifications for front-end developers, considering feasibility and performance
• Build understanding of current and prospective learners to guide design decisions
• Stay informed about design practices in higher education and academic medicine
• Promote inclusive, accessible, user-centered design across products
• Explain design decisions to stakeholders and connect them to business objectives
• Build collaborative relationships with our close-knit team and deliver high-quality work on schedule
