American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring cath lab procedural experience and ACLS/BLS certification.
Requirements
- Active FL or compact RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of recent Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
- Cath lab procedural experience required
- Must be flexible and able to function independently in a fast-paced environment
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- US SSN and DOB required for consideration
- Two professional references required for Florida placements
Responsibilities
- Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab (CVL) unit of a hospital
- 13-bed unit staffed by RNs and CVTs (approximately 30 staff)
- Patient ratio of 1:3
- Day shift hours from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM or until all cases are completed
- Uses Phillips and GE equipment
- Documentation via Meditech and Mac Lab systems
- Performs LHC, RHC, Peripherals, Structural Heart, and EP procedures
- On-call required during the week and every other weekend
- Call requirements include after hours, weekends, and major holidays
- Provide nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and related cardiovascular procedures
- Scrubs provided by the facility
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this position
- First-time travelers may be considered
