American Traveler is seeking a Pediatric Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 2+ years of pediatric experience for a night shift position at a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center.
Requirements
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required; CRT not accepted
- Minimum 2 years of recent pediatric respiratory therapy experience required, 3+ years preferred
- Pediatric experience required
- Completion of at least 1 prior travel assignment required
- TN license required at time of consideration; license required if applicable
- Driver's license copy required for consideration
- Must comply with NLC guidelines
Responsibilities
- Pediatric respiratory therapy unit within a children's hospital
- Level I Pediatric Trauma Center setting
- Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
- Weekend coverage as needed
- Cerner EMR experience preferred
- Provide respiratory care services to critically ill pediatric patients in a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- Former permanent staff and travelers must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning
- If Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's all fall during the assignment, must be willing to work 2 of the 3 holidays; if only 2 holidays fall during the assignment, must work at least 1
- All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at time of consideration; RTO requested after an offer will not be honored
- Local candidates must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be considered
- Vaccination status documentation required for consideration
