Position
Cardiac catheterization is the insertion of a catheter into a chamber or vessel of the heart. It can be used to diagnose or treat heart conditions. Cardiac Cath Lab Nurses assist doctors performing these procedures and may specialize in coronary catheterization, working in state‑of‑the‑art labs with the latest technology.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of current work experience in a CATH LAB.
- Connecticut State Healthcare Provider license or willingness to obtain one.
Certifications Needed
- BLS
- ACLS
