Responsibilities

• - Deliver coordinated nursing care for Cath Lab patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
• - Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines.
• - Conduct assessments, develop and execute care plans, implement interventions, and evaluate patient responses during interventional procedures.
• - Maintain sterile technique, patient safety, and readiness of equipment and supplies for cath lab procedures.
• - Communicate clearly with physicians, other members of the interventional team, and patients’ families; document care accurately.
• - Demonstrate critical thinking and independent judgment in fast-paced procedural environments and respond to changes in patient condition.

Requirements

• - Active Registered Nurse license in Oregon.
• - Cath lab nursing experience preferred; strong foundation in acute care nursing.
• - Current BLS certification; ACLS as appropriate for Cath Lab roles.
• - ADN or higher degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).
• - Ability to work in a Cath Lab environment with the ability to manage patients during interventional procedures.
• - Willingness to work a 4x10 schedule and travel assignment requirements.
