Travel Radiology Technologist - X-Ray

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with 1+ years experience in all X-ray procedures and surgical C-arm operation.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in X-ray procedures, including surgical C-arm operation
• ARRT (R) and BLS certification required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Teaching hospital, community hospital, and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred
• Valid WA state license required in hand at time of submission; license required if applicable
• Knowledge of infection prevention, isolation precautions/PPE, and radiation safety required
• Experience with preparation and/or administration of contrast media required

Responsibilities

• Hospital-based X-ray/radiology position
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 11:30 AM to 9:30 PM
• Work settings include adult acute care, pediatric acute care, outpatient, emergency department, ICU, NICU, PICU, and operating room
• Performs abdomen/GI, upper and lower extremity, spine and pelvis, chest and thorax, and head imaging
• Fluoroscopy studies may include barium swallow/esophagus, contrast enema, ERCP, upper GI series, and trauma cases
• Performs mobile/surgical procedures including C-arm, portable abdomen, and portable chest
• Uses GE, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba imaging equipment with PACS system
• On-call is voluntary, not required
• May float between sister facilities nearby
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront during the application process
• Former permanent employees of any Providence-affiliated facility must be separated from the health system for a minimum of 3 months to qualify
• Two supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years are required
• Candidates must disclose any prior work history with Providence facilities, including location and dates
