Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to acquire diagnostic images per physician orders and established protocols
• Position patients, select coils, and optimize imaging parameters to produce high-quality MR images
• Prepare, administer, and monitor contrast media as required; monitor patient safety throughout procedures
• Verify patient information, document findings, measurements, and image quality; present results to physicians as directed
• Collaborate with radiologists and other care team members to coordinate imaging workflows and patient care
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, privacy regulations, and regulatory requirements; maintain equipment and perform routine quality checks

Requirements

• Education: Certificate or diploma from an MRI program or an Associate’s degree in Radiology; Bachelor's degree in radiologic technology or equivalent preferred
• Licenses/Certifications: Active state Radiologic Technologist license; ARRT-R, ARRT-MR, or ARMRIT certification required
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent MRI experience
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved provider
• Ability to work in a hospital setting and adapt to a rotating night shift schedule
