Details Operating Room setting within a short-term acute care hospital with 426 staffed beds Level II Trauma Center Evening shift, 5x8 hours ) Holiday and weekend rotation required as needed Call requirements as needed Scrubs provided Charting system: Epic Requirements Active RN license (CT or Compact) required prior to start BLS certification required Minimum 3 years of OR nursing experience required (5 years preferred) Prior travel experience required with a minimum of 3 assignments in Level I Trauma or high trauma settings Trauma Level I and Level II experience required Epic charting experience required Teaching hospital and community hospital experience preferred Previous charge experience preferred 1 professional reference required for consideration Flu vaccine required with no declinations accepted COVID vaccine and booster required, with religious or medical exemptions only Additional Information Scrub for a wide range of surgical specialties including vascular, general, orthopedic, neurology, trauma, gynecology, urology, ENT, thoracic, bariatric, and robotic procedures Experience with DaVinci robotic surgical systems preferred Work in General OR, Hybrid OR, and Trauma settings Participate in emergency management protocols including code response, fire safety, and malignant hyperthermia procedures Travelers may be required to participate in natural disaster or emergency response activities Local candidates not accepted; candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility Former staff employees must have been separated from the facility for at least 2 years to be eligible as a traveler Up to 7 days of requested time off may be auto-approved American Traveler Job ID P- .
