Job Summary
nPre-Operative (Pre Op) Registered Nurse position in Tracy, CA. This role involves providing individualized patient care, patient and family education, and coordinating interdisciplinary plans of care in a busy surgical environment. The nurse will work days, 8-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.

  • Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: CA RN Licensure, 3 years of experience, BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications, and a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar setting.

  • Required Qualifications: CA RN Licensure, 3 years of experience, BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications, and at least 3 years of experience in a relevant clinical setting.

  • Performs routine assignments and develops competence by performing structured work assignments.
  • n
  • Accountable for assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education, and transitions of care.

  • Delivers holistic, individualized care to all patients in the assigned area.
  • n
  • Develops, implements, and manages interdisciplinary care plans incorporating psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors.
  • n
  • Fosters collaborative relationships with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare providers through timely communication.
  • n
  • Preferred Qualifications: Ambulatory surgery/phase II experience within the past 2 years, EPIC electronic medical record experience.

  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • n
  • Submission Requirements: Candidates must upload Nursys verification of CA RN Licensure within the last 2 weeks and applicable certifications with valid expiration dates. Two references obtained within the last year are required.
