MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for assignment in Tyler, Texas.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for adult patients before and after surgical procedures.
• Attend to patients receiving pharmaceutical treatment to manage illness.
• Complete assignments made by physicians.
• Provide routine treatment and post-surgical care.
• Assess changes in patient health status and perform various treatments.
• Administer medication.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of medication and treatment administration to ensure continuity of care between nursing staff, physicians and other team members.

Qualifications

• Active RN License.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification.
• At least 18 months of recent experience in an acute care Med/Surg setting.
• Additional client-specific requirements will be determined by the facility.
