Travel Nurse RN - ED - Emergency Department - $2,150 per week

Job Summary

Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) position available in Miami, Florida. This role involves providing high-acuity, fast-paced emergency care in a level I trauma facility with a capacity of over 1,500 beds. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position requires prior travel experience in a level I trauma center and a minimum of 2 years of ER experience.

Schedule

• Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Florida or Compact State RN license.
• AHS Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years ER experience.
• Prior experience at a level I trauma facility.
• Cerner Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience.
• Must pass EKG exam during orientation.
• Must have AVADE training or MAB Certification, including skills with physical de-escalation techniques.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior level I trauma experience.
• Travel experience at a trauma center.

Float

• Float rotation may be required as per hospital policy.

Additional Information

• Must handle admission work for boarded patients and be able to do so efficiently.
• The role involves working every other weekend or alternating weekends and holidays as needed.
• The candidate may be required to float to other units as required by the healthcare provider.
• Scrub colors are royal blue.
• Submission must include all requested RTO and credentials.
