Job Details
Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist – 13‑week assignment in Bloomington, Indiana. 40 hours per week, 8‑hour days. Start Date: 05/05/2026.
Responsibilities
- Educate patients about nuclear medicine procedures and address their questions.
- Maintain and inspect nuclear medicine equipment, ensuring proper functioning and compliance with radiation safety standards.
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and other medications according to established protocols.
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions to radioactive drugs, intervening as necessary to ensure safety.
- Operate medical imaging equipment to create images of organs or body areas per physician orders.
- Document procedure details in patient records to ensure continuity of care and regulatory compliance.
- Follow hospital safety rules and radiation safety procedures to minimize exposure.
- Perform additional duties as assigned within the scope of Nuclear Medicine Technologist practice.
Required Qualifications
- One year’s experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
- Current Nuclear Medicine Technologist/Radiography license in compliance with state regulations.
- Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
Preferred Qualifications
- Current ARRT or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT).
- Additional certifications and licenses as required for the position.

- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and perform basic PC functions.
- Physical ability to remain stationary, move equipment up to 100 lbs, push, pull, and bend.

- Technical/motor skills for fine manipulation and use of department equipment.
- Ability to handle frequent customer contact, meet deadlines under pressure, and work independently with occasional supervision.
- Visual acuity and effective communication proficiency.
