Join our team as a Registered Nurse specializing in Med Surg/Telemetry in Rochester, NY. This exciting travel contract position offers a 12-hour night shift schedule (7 PM - 7 AM) with three shifts per week. The role guarantees 36 hours per week and requires availability for every other weekend and holiday shifts. You will work in a Med Surg/Telemetry unit with patient ratios ranging from 1:5 to 1:7. Candidates must have recent acute care experience within the last six months and an active New York Single State RN license. Familiarity with EPIC EMR is required for charting, as well as BLS certification. Core skills include cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, rapid response, IV therapy, and oxygen administration. You may be required to float within your skillset.
