Job Opportunity – Inpatient Pharmacist – Topeka, KS 66606

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Topeka, Kansas

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (07:00 - 15:00), with shift times varying as needed. 13-week assignment with 4 weekend rotations required. Daily census approximately 100 patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

• Inpatient acute care pharmacy position in a community hospital setting
• Work with Epic charting system and comprehensive interdisciplinary support teams
• Orientation provided with 24 hours of onsite training
• First-time travelers welcome with 2 years of pharmacy experience preferred
• One pre-approved time off period available during assignment
• Floating to like units within scope may be required based on facility needs

Requirements:

• Active Kansas State Pharmacy license (required at time of submission)
• PharmD and RPh credentials required
• BLS and ACLS certifications current and in hand
• 2 years of pharmacy experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Proficiency in anticoagulation therapy, high-alert medications, IV push medications, pediatric dosing, pharmacokinetic dosing, Pyxis, renal dosing, sterile technique, therapeutic medication monitoring, and warfarin dosing
• Must reside outside 50-mile radius from facility
