Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology is seeking a Travel CT Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in San Ramon, California. The role calls for a skilled professional to operate CT equipment, produce diagnostic images, and maintain equipment while ensuring patient safety and radiologic quality.

Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist
- Valid radiology license in compliance with state regulations
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA/ARC)
Preferred Qualifications
- Current ARRT Certification
- Additional certifications and licenses may be required for this position
Responsibilities
The CT Technologist operates computerized tomography scanners to produce cross‑sectional images of patients’ bodies for diagnostic purposes. Key duties include:
- Operating CT equipment to generate diagnostic images of bones, organs, and tissues
- Preparing patients for procedures, explaining the imaging process, and positioning them safely and accurately
- Setting technical parameters to demonstrate anatomy and pathology accurately
- Providing high‑quality images to radiologists for interpretation
- Adhering to radiation safety standards and hospital policies to protect patients and staff
- Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment
- Documenting patient information, imaging parameters, and procedural details accurately in the hospital’s system
- Collaborating with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services
- Adapting to different CT equipment and protocols across various healthcare facilities
- Performing other duties as assigned within the scope of CT tech practice
Required Essential Skills
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and strong interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English
- Ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions and proficiency in PC skills
- Physical Abilities: Ability to remain stationary, move 50‑100 lbs, push, pull, and bend
- Interpersonal Skills: Work effectively with diverse personnel and maintain a positive attitude
- Technical/Motor Skills: Fine manipulation, push/pull, and assistance with procedures and equipment
- Mental Requirements: Ability to handle frequent public contact, meet deadlines under pressure, work with minimal supervision, and maintain concentration to detail
- Sensory Requirements: Visual acuity and effective communication
