TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Tyler, Texas.

We're looking for Telemetry RNs for an immediate travel nurse opening in Tyler, TX. The right RN should have 1-2 years' recent acute care experience. Read below for more requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Provide basic bedside care.
  • Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients, and interpret and record electronic displays.
  • Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify appropriate medical team members.
  • Initiate corrective action whenever information from monitoring equipment shows adverse symptomatology.
  • Stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty. Lift up to 20 pounds routinely and up to 50 pounds as needed.
  • Maintain vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception; adjust focus as necessary.

Requirements

  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • 2 Years of recent acute care experience

Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
