Training And Documentation Specialist-FscmThis position serves as a bridge between technical teams and functional staff, ensuring successful adoption of new system functionalities.

Responsibilities include developing and delivering tailored training materials, conducting sessions to educate users on new technologies, and providing ongoing support to facilitate the effective use of custom and standard application packages.75% Contribute independently and execution of assigned tasks including: Plans, organizes, prepares and conducts functional training and educational programs for users.Performs needs assessments to determine educational interventions and course development.Maintains records of training activities and assesses program effectiveness.Participates in curriculum development.Develop communications to inform users of new technologies or systems upgrades.Demonstrates application functionality to educate internal/campus customers.Assists Team Leadership with creating, modifying and presenting materials for new and updated enhancements.Create job aids, quick-reference guides, and FAQs tailored to specific updates or enhancements.15% Collaborate and share knowledge including: Demonstrating expertise to educate internal/campus customersDocumenting and sharing tools, tips and knowledge within and across teamsDeliver or conduct interactive training on demandEngage with functional staff to gather feedback on training effectiveness and system usability, updating training materials based on staff feedback and changing needs5% Contribute knowledge and process improvement including: Serve as liaison between customer and business analyst and development teamPosts and reviews with internal/campus customers helpful documentation for SMEProject management5% Other functions as assignedQualifications:Working knowledge of PeopleSoft FMS & SCM modules and ancillary systemsWorking knowledge of creating video tutorials and presentations directly via screencast, or via a direct recording using software. Toolset experience: Camtasia, Microsoft Stream, or other equivalentThree years' experience providing training in information technology as it relates to PeopleSoft or equivalent ERP systems.

Educational or training certification.Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft Financial applications including integrating PeopleSoft with non-PeopleSoft Applications.Hands-on experience with educational or training software packages.Prior experience with University of Texas Campus or other higher education agency preferred.Ability to work well with people in all levels of the organization and handle fast paced, dynamic environment where competing interests and working multiple priorities is the norm.Excellent organization, teamwork, problem-solving, and communication (verbal and written) skills.Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, SharePoint)
