Shift Trainer
A shift trainer position is available. The schedule includes Monday through Thursday, plus overtime and holidays. The shift runs from 5:00am to 3:30pm with a pay rate of $20.50 per hour.
The role purpose is to train and evaluate associates on material handling equipment (MHE) and provide classroom instructions.
Key accountabilities include:
- Presenting training to associates and effectively communicating with all associates
- Evaluating associate's ramp up form and creating steps for success
- Assisting with creating work reference guides
- Providing effective initial training and cross-training of associates and outside workers
- Supporting operations as needed by leadership
- Performing additional duties as assigned by management
- Certifying associates for MHE
- Actively participating in the YOBE process
- Creating system logins for all associates
- Updating associates on company goals and procedures
- Identifying training needs
- Conducting BBS observations
- Participating in the Safety Committee
Required education and experience includes:
- Related technical experience
- MHE experience (sit down forklift and pallet jack)
- MHE experience (stand up forklift, reach truck, clamp, and slip), preferred
- Scrubber, preferred
- High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
