ToolmakerWe are seeking a detail-oriented Toolmaker with a strong background in metal stamping to join our manufacturing team. The Toolmaker will be responsible for creating, repairing, and maintaining precision tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures used in punch press operations. This role requires strong blueprint reading, machining, and troubleshooting skills to ensure accurate fabrication and efficient production.Key ResponsibilitiesInterpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD filesSet up and operate manual and CNC machines including mills, lathes, grinders, and surface finishersAssemble, fit, and test tools and diesPerform preventative and corrective maintenance on stamping tools and diesTroubleshoot tooling and stamping issues with engineering and production teamsModify existing tools and fixtures as neededMaintain documentation of tool builds, repairs, and modificationsFollow all safety, quality, and production standardsRequirementsTool & Die apprenticeship, technical training, or equivalent experienceMinimum 3 years of experience with metal stamping toolingExperience with compound blanks, progressive dies, fixtures, and gaugesStrong understanding of die clearances, press setup, and material flowAbility to read blueprints and GD&T specificationsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionPreferred QualificationsExperience with in-die sensors and die protection systemsHaas CNC machining experienceCAD/CAM software experienceLean manufacturing knowledgeBenefitsHealth InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceDisability InsurancePaid Time Off401k
