This is a state-of-the-art, 62-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital dedicated to helping individuals regain their independence and return to their lives following an injury or illness. The rehabilitation programs provide ongoing care and specialized treatment to patients throughout their recovery journey. Customized, individualized rehabilitation is offered tailored to the specific needs of those recovering from a stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury. The facility strives to maximize the health, function, and quality of life of those served through comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs.

A neurological rehabilitation program is designed for patients who have experienced an injury to the brain, spinal cord, or nerves. Those who have experienced a neurological injury or disease may have difficulties with movement, speaking, swallowing, breathing, or learning. Comprehensive rehabilitation is provided for patients who have experienced a spinal cord injury, either traumatic or non-traumatic, benefiting from a specialized and coordinated process to increase their physical, emotional, and psychological abilities. Specialized skills and training help therapists recognize the unique needs of individuals who have experienced a brain injury and provide consistent and structured rehabilitation. Comprehensive care is offered to address physical dysfunction, cognitive impairments, and behavioral issues associated with these patients. A multidisciplinary team provides specialty care to help individuals regain function from the physical and psychological effects following a stroke. The goal is to assist patients in achieving the most complete recovery possible through prevention, recognition, assessment, and treatment of conditions related to stroke and its complications. An effective and evidence-based care approach is provided for patients who have experienced an amputation. The focus is on restoring strength and confidence, regaining function and mobility, and returning individuals to an independent and fulfilling life. For orthopedic recovery, the program prepares patients coming from fractures, dislocations, or joint replacements to transition back home and into the community. A number of objectives are established based on the individual needs of patients, including gait training, stair climbing, transfer training, muscle strengthening, fall safety, and daily living skills. Candidates should possess a collaborative mindset, be self-starters, and be problem solvers.
