Therapist - Occupational Therapy Assistant

n Job Summary:n
n Provide rehabilitative and skilled occupational therapy services to patients with cognitive and physical disorders under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans to support patient recovery and functional independence.n

n Responsibilities:n

• n Support clinical interventions by utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to patient needs.n
• n Administer therapeutic procedures including ADL retraining, exercises, modalities, and use of assistive devices.n
• n Assess patient progress and communicate findings to supervising Occupational Therapist to modify treatment plans accordingly.n
• n Document all clinical activities, patient progress, and regulatory information accurately in electronic records.n
• n Collaborate with the healthcare team, patients, families, and caregivers to ensure effective treatment and discharge planning.n
• n Support supervision and training of students under the guidance of licensed Occupational Therapists.n

n Qualifications:n

• n Possess active State Licensure/Registration as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.n
• n Hold a valid COTA license or registration.n
• n Have at least 1 year of experience as an OTA, preferably in LTC or Rehab settings.n
• n Demonstrate proficiency in documenting and maintaining detailed clinical records.n
• n Comply with NBCOT/AOTA standards, practice acts, and ethical guidelines.n
