Key Responsibilities:
- Manual Testing:
- Develop, execute, and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing to ensure product quality.
- Identify, document, and track bugs and defects using tools like JIRA, TestRail, or Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to define test requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for software quality assurance.
- Performance Testing:
- Design and execute performance, load, stress, and scalability tests using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling.
- Analyze application performance metrics and identify bottlenecks or areas for optimization.
- Work with development teams to optimize queries, code, and infrastructure for better performance.
- Generate detailed performance test reports and recommend solutions to improve system efficiency.
- Test Automation & Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to automate repetitive test cases for efficiency.
- Contribute to the development of test frameworks and automation scripts when required.
- Stay up to date with the latest testing methodologies, tools, and trends to enhance test strategies.
