Our team is our competitive advantage and we are better together.Your MissionWe are seeking a highly motivated Test Engineer to support the design, planning, and execution of test campaigns for aerospace defense systems.

You will work closely with engineers, program managers, and technical teams to ensure that systems meet performance, environmental, and mission-critical requirements. In this role, you will develop test plans, execute tests, collect data, analyze results, and ensure that the systems meet all specifications. The position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge aerospace technologies in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.ResponsibilitiesSupport or lead the planning, setup, execution, and documentation of component- and system-level tests across mechanical, electrical, and environmental domainsDevelop, review, and maintain test procedures, plans, reports, and data packages aligned with engineering requirements and program needsExecute test procedures, collect and validate test data, and ensure adherence to safety, quality, and configuration control standardsAnalyze test results, document anomalies, and support root cause investigations in collaboration with cross-functional teamsCoordinate with design, systems, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure tests align with verification and validation requirementsPrepare for and participate in test readiness reviews, pre-test briefings, and post-test debriefsMaintain organized test documentation to support internal, customer, and audit reviewsContribute to continuous improvement of test methodologies, tooling, automation, and data analysis practicesQualificationsBachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical fieldTest Engineer I: Bachelor's degree with 0–1 years of academic or industry experience in a test, validation, or lab environmentTest Engineer II: Bachelor's degree with 2–4+ years of hands-on test engineering experience within the aerospace or defense industry, or a Master's degree with relevant experienceDemonstrated proficiency in, or strong interest in developing expertise across, test planning, execution, and post-test analysis using modern tools and methodsWorking knowledge of test equipment, instrumentation, data acquisition systems, and test scription or automationStrong attention to detail and ability to follow defined processes and safety protocolsProficiency with Microsoft Office; ability to learn test management and data analysis toolsStrong documentation and communication skillsU.S.

Citizenship required due to government contractsPreferred Skills And ExperienceExperience with environmental testing (vibration, thermal, shock, TVAC, EMI/EMC)Strong technical writing and report generation skillsFamiliarity with aerospace and defense test standards (e.g., MIL-STD-810, DO-160)Hands-on experience with lab instrumentation, sensors, and DAQ systemsExperience with data analysis or automation tools such as LabVIEW, MATLAB, or PythonExposure to failure investigations, root cause analysis, and non-conformance trackingActive DoD clearance or ability to obtain oneCompensationTest Engineer I Base Salary: $70,000-$110,000Test Engineer II Base Salary: $80,000-$130,000Equity + Benefits: including Health, Dental, Vision, HRA/HSA options, PTO and paid holidays, 401K, Parental LeaveYour actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, location, and experience.Additional RequirementsWork Location: this a fully onsite position based out of our Centennial, CO office.Work Environment: the work environment; temperature, noise level, inside or outside, or other factors that will affect the person's working conditions while performing the job.Physical Demands: the physical demands of the job, including bending, sitting, lifting and driving.
