Test Data Management EngineerThis role demonstrates a capable understanding of Test Data Management related to data security, data masking, synthetic data creation and test data strategy planning. The engineer will be responsible for working with teams to provide test data. This role will create synthetic data, perform data conditioning, macro creations for data generation, data masking, provisioning for data and mask data as needed.
Strong ability to multi-task in an environment of changing priorities.Responsibilities:Responsible for working with divisional teams to understand data requests and to create a strategy for delivering the dataExpertise in TDM function including Data provisioning, sub setting, profiling, Data miningAbility to perform PHI Analysis for determination of maskingResponsible for facilitating/providing test data strategy planningAbility to create synthetic data based on customer requestMacro generation for synthetic data creationCapable abilities with TDM masking tools (Informatica preferred)Maintains referential integrity and relationships of the masked dataCreates and maintains documentation for data masking solutions and processes. Works with application teams to understand the data and identify protected and restricted dataAbility to seek out and acquire enhanced skills on cutting-edge test-data management approaches, while championing the adoption of test data management best practicesWork directly with QA team members to understand business use cases and help identify test data for short and long-term testingWork with development and business teams to understand application workflows and determine best approaches for test data de-identificationCollaborate with Management to design and implement test data strategy and frameworkCreate test data management roadmap for complex applications, with policies to manage them, and ensure enforcementAbility to identify dependencies, constraints and risks as needed for test data planningAbility to handle escalations / project progress concerns from client and manage them according to expectationsScripting experience with Shell, Perl,.bat, VB Script or any other scripting language experienceTop skills required for this role:TDM function including Data provisioning, sub setting, profiling, Data miningAbility to perform PHI Analysis for determination of maskingResponsible for facilitating/providing test data strategy planning8-10 Years of Experience
