Job Summary

Cullum & Brown is hiring a Territory Sales Manager to lead customer‑center equipment sales and service activity in Northern Colorado. The role involves quoting, strategizing, prospecting, and developing relationships to achieve revenue targets, maximize profits, increase market share, and maintain customer loyalty.

Responsibilities

  • Generate Revenue – Generate sales of equipment, service contracts, and service offerings with direct end‑users and partners within the defined geographic area. Develop the existing customer base and secure new competitive accounts. Provide and design compressed air solutions. Maintain current product knowledge and execute continuous improvement strategies to exceed customer satisfaction.
  • Develop People Capabilities – Provide selling skills and product/service training for dealer sales personnel and customer‑center staff. Partner with the services team to understand products and anticipate customer needs.
  • Manage Cash – Ensure orders are error‑free with correct documentation and resolve customer disputes. Manage costs associated with selling efforts, including travel and entertainment expenditures.
  • Ensure adherence to safety rules – Maintain vehicle safety, customer‑site safety, and field safety standards.
  • Earn Customer Loyalty – Collaborate cross‑functionally and partner with the service team to troubleshoot issues or offer unique solutions.
  • Maintain CRM Database – Record interactions, assets, agreements, contacts, and opportunities. Track the sales pipeline and provide daily reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, business, or equivalent from a four‑year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 4+ years’ experience in an industrial sales business setting.
  • Valid driver’s license with no major or frequent traffic violations (e.g., DUI in the last 5 years, hit‑and‑run, license suspension, reckless/careless driving, or multiple infractions in the last 3 years).

Preference

  • Knowledge of Salesforce preferred.

  • Tech savvy; knowledge of Salesforce preferred.
  • Proven business and sales acumen, with the ability to prospect accounts and navigate within customer organizations to win competitive accounts.
  • Excellent prioritization and time‑management skills.

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements

  • Regional travel to customer sites is required within the assigned geographic territory.

Pay Range

The total pay range for this role, not including incentive opportunities, is $70,000 – $120,000. Hired applicants may be eligible for discretionary or non‑discretionary annual bonuses and incentive compensation.
