Onsite Full Time 27

We are currently seeking an experienced Investigative Paralegal for our client, a dedicated legal practice focused on handling sensitive medical malpractice matters. This position serves as the primary point of contact for all medical malpractice intakes and requires extensive, direct client interaction. The right professional takes pride in their work, consistently strives to deliver thoughtful, high-quality support, and approaches challenges with a solutions-oriented mindset. The selected professional will independently manage medical records requests, perform detailed medical records reviews, and research potential medical expert consultants to help prepare attorneys for investigations. The work is intellectually challenging and demands critical thinking, sound judgment, and strong analytical, drafting, and proofreading skills, where a meticulous attention to detail is critical. The role requires the ability to work independently on multiple projects simultaneously, utilizing strong time management and project management skills to meet deadlines while remaining flexible to frequent changes and delays.

Candidates should possess two to five years of medical malpractice experience, though relevant experience gained outside of a traditional law firm will be considered. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams, as well as Adobe Acrobat and Zoom, is required. A willingness or existing experience to learn and use case management software like Filevine and other legal research tools is necessary. A paralegal certification is ideal, and previous experience assisting with the settlement process and drafting complaints is highly desirable.

We offer eligible employees competitive pay and access to a range of benefits and support programs based on assignment type, schedule, length of employment, and eligibility requirements, including medical, dental, vision, prescription coverage, short-term disability, 401(k), employee assistance, childcare assistance, discounts, paid holidays, and longevity bonuses. We are an equal opportunity employer and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local fair employment practices laws. We strictly prohibit and do not tolerate discrimination against employees, applicants, or any other covered persons because of race, color, religion, creed, national origin or ancestry, ethnicity, sex, sexual orientation, gender (including gender identity and expression), marital or familial status, age, physical or mental disability, perceived disability, citizenship status, service in the uniformed services, genetic information, height, weight, or any other characteristic protected under applicable federal, state, or local law.
