Role Overview
Technical writers apply their experience creating, editing, and refining technical documentation to evaluate AI-generated content and deliver focused feedback that improves clarity, technical accuracy, documentation structure, consistency, voice, tone, and adherence to professional writing standards.
Key Responsibilities- Review AI-produced technical content for correctness, clarity, organization, consistency, voice, and tone.
- Provide actionable feedback and edits to help AI generate more accurate, user-friendly, and professionally styled documentation.
- Point out factual errors, ambiguous or misleading phrasing, formatting or structural problems, and deviations from accepted documentation practices, and recommend corrections.
- Supply examples of preferred wording, organization, and style to guide improvements in AI outputs.
- Proven experience creating, editing, and refining technical documentation.
- Demonstrated expertise in ensuring technical accuracy, logical documentation structure, clarity, consistency, voice, tone, and conformity with professional writing standards.
- Ability to articulate clear, constructive feedback aimed at improving content quality and usability.
- Engagement is part-time, project-based, and paid on an hourly contract basis.
- Work is remote and schedule is flexible, allowing this role to be performed alongside primary employment.
- This is not a traditional full-time technical writing, documentation, or content development role; assignments are ongoing and vary by project.
Up to $100/hr (depending on the project)
