IS Technical Specialist: III (Senior)The IS Technical Specialist: III (Senior) modifies existing software/application programs, which are typically more complex in nature, or writes new programs to support user and management needs. Role will require working along-side and as a backup for the Puppet Enterprise (PE) product owner.Duties and Responsibilities:Support Puppet Enterprise servers and software for internal team use casesWork with PE team to offer guidance and expertise in the Puppet development spaceDevelop and review code for PE and deploy to productionShell scripting in Bash and PowershellStrong grasp of Windows and RedHat Linux operating systemsAbilities to codify changes to Windows and Linux Operating systemsOpenness to learn and incorporate new technologies and patternsStrong communicatorMaintain engineer level and user facing documentationStrong command of SDLC patternsAbility to manage code with gitBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience5+ years of related experiencePreferred Qualifications:Maintain and produce code in PythonManage pipelines with JenkinsFamiliarity or expertise with Ruby, Ansible, PowerApps, containerization, ADO Pipelines, Web patterns with HTML/CSS/Javascript, Flask, and/or Restful services
